Abdullah is an occupational hygiene professional who helps organizations identify, assess and control workplace hazards so workers can stay healthy and safe on the job. As a Specialized Consultant at WSPS, he brings a science-based, practical approach to supporting employers across industries with healthier workplaces and stronger prevention strategies.

I was drawn to health & safety because it combines science, problem solving, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. I find it rewarding to help create safer, healthier workplaces where people can perform their jobs with confidence.

Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Life Sciences from McMaster University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto, specializing in occupational hygiene. He also earned the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. Throughout his career, he has developed training on topics such as heat stress, WHMIS and non-ionizing and ionizing radiation, helping organizations better understand and manage complex hazards.

The fact that no two days are the same is what keeps me excited about this job! Every workplace has unique challenges, which means there are always new opportunities to learn, solve problems, and help organizations improve their health and safety performance.

Known for being responsible, collaborative and committed to workplace health and safety, Abdullah works closely with organizations to support exposure assessment and control, hazard identification, risk assessment, program development, safety training and regulatory compliance.
