SECTION IV: ASSESSMENT CONCLUSION
INTRODUCTION
Review and evaluate all the preceding worksheets to help you reach one of two conclusions:
i. No worker's health may be affected, or
ii. A worker's health may be affected
The evaluation should be done in consultation with your joint health and safety committee.
If you are in doubt as to which conclusion to reach, consultation with occupational hygiene experts
(Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) designations) may be
necessary to help you evaluate the information you have obtained. Information about access to such
experts is available from:
Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Training and Skills Development (MLITSD)
Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS), or your Health and Safety Association (IHSA,
PSHSA, WSN) and OHCOW
Occupational Hygiene Association of Ontario (OHAO)
Private Occupational Hygiene Consulting firms
Your Trade Association
Other companies in your industry
The guidelines in Worksheet 6 are designed to help you reach a conclusion and record it.
