6 13+ Workplace Factors Toolkits | MARCH 2022 BACK TO CONTENTS FACTOR 3 CLEAR LEADERSHIP AND EXPECTATIONS Navigating daily tasks at work is easier when there is effective direction and support from leadership. When employees understand what they need to do, how their work contributes to the workplace and have confidence in their leaders throughout organizational change, there is clear leadership and expectations. When workplaces have support from leadership, morale is positive, there is more trust between leaders and employees and communication is direct and timely. Where employees are given individualized attention and there is a positive manager-employee relationship, they can work to their full potential. This increases the overall productivity of the organization and contributes to organizational success.
