8 13+ Workplace Factors Toolkits | MARCH 2022 BACK TO CONTENTS FACTOR 4 CIVILITY AND RESPECT Respectful and considerate interactions, both internally between employees and externally towards customers and the public, exists in a workplace with civility and respect. Civil and respectful environments translate to how we treat each other on a day-to-day basis and when conflict arises. This promotes an opportunity to have fair and respectful dialogue, challenging each other to work to their highest potential while respecting various opinions and perspectives. Overall, the environment is positive and marked by teamwork, collaboration, high spirits and work satisfaction.
