Why Strive for a Caring Culture? Defining a psychologically safe workplace: A psychologically safe workplace is one that actively promotes employee mental health while preventing mental harm. It is a workplace where employees feel safe to self-advocate, ask questions, and share their points-of-view. 9 The end goal of a caring culture is to become a psychologically safe workplace.
