Many businesses may not have the resources or skill sets to use ergonomics tools to eliminate MSD hazards. How will WSPS offer support? We recognize that businesses have different challenges and constraints based on size and resources available. WSPS is committed to providing support to all businesses regardless of size, ensuring ergonomics is understood and implemented using a strategic and integrated approach. We leverage our experience, existing relationships with our system partners and engage research institutions to get you the information your business needs to implement sustainable solutions that will impact employee well-being and overall performance. Our goal is to empower our customers, integrating ergonomics into their business; contributing to Every worker. Healthy and safe. Every day. General Questions I do not have an ergonomics program. Is it required? The short answer is no. An official program is not required. However, employers are still required to identify hazards related to MSDs and treat them the same as any other workplace hazard. This means they need to be: recognized and identified assessed eliminated or controlled An ergonomics program or MSD prevention program is the best way to be proactive in identifying MSD hazards and eliminating and controlling them. WSPS will assist you in understanding what you are already doing to prevent MSDs and identify where you need to fill in the gaps.
