All rights reserved. 4 OVERVIEW OF PARTICIPANTS COMPLETED SURVEY RESPONDENTS = 532 There was an exceptional response to the survey again in 2021, with 532 responses from senior leaders and decision makers representing a broad cross-section of industries and business types and sizes from across Canada. Senior leaders included CEOs, COOs, presidents, vice presidents and owners (19%). Approximately 60% of respondents were managers and health and safety decision-makers. For the first time, we also conducted the survey with 500 employees from workplaces across Ontario. While the surveys were not identical, some questions did overlap. They reveal where leader vs employee perceptions and opinions intersect and where they diverge. Another first this year is the breakdown by sector which provides us with a better understanding of how particular issues are affecting various industries.
