Train worker to identify and report rack damage. Have supervisors perform routine inspections. 2 Racking Overload Sec. 45 Reg. 851 Post capacity for racking in an accessible location. Train workers to identify the weight of load and capacity of racking. Keep storage within racking capacity. 3 Mobile equipment colliding with racking Sec. 25(1)(c)(d) OHSA Ensure operators are competent through training. Enforce safe operating practices i.e., not turning with load in the air. Aisle width is adequate for size of lift truck. 4 Racking Failure 25(1)(b)(2)(h) Participate in investigation to determine root cause of incidents and ensure recommendations are implemented.
