Then you need an MMH program) k) Have more continuing education on safety (from external parties for leadership) l) Establish a "Badge of honour" system – sticker on website/trucks – for proven leadership commitment to OHS (e.g. all leaders have taken xyz course on OHS) i. Make this entry level – less intense than ISO/COR m) Provide a CEO/owner landing page – one click point to help build commitment i. From a reliable, trustworthy source ii. Include which tools are available and how to access n) Build OHS into social responsibility networks (e.g. we are sustainable, we are environmentally friendly, we value safety) o) Engage workers (e.g. learning team) to investigate and develop solutions p) Encourage top management to consult with those doing the tasks on the type of equipment required to safely complete the task q) Regularly solicit worker feedback on equipment/tasks for continual improvements
