Do not operate a rotary �ller close to ditches, fences or pa�os. The �nes can catch and throw par�cles as well as throw the operator off balance. Prevention Points Consider these prevention points: Review the General Health & Safety Best Practices section on page 7 before performing any task. If you hit an obstruction, disengage the tiller and stop the engine to inspect for damage. Never clean dirt off the tines while the machine is running. Disengage spark plug and PTO first. Ensure all guards and shields are in place and functioning properly. Keep hands and feet away from all moving parts. Do not use equipment near underground utilities, irrigation pipes, trees, etc. It is recommended to contact utilities to mark lines. Avoid using the equipment in wet or slippery conditions. Never start and operate equipment in a closed building. Never leave the machine running and unattended. Always disengage the tines when turning or transporting the tiller. ! ?
