If possible, avoid operating vehicle on steep slopes. Never leave a vehicle unattended while running or with the key in the ignition. It is recommended to park the vehicle on level ground without blocking pathways, entrances/exits or doorways. Before fuelling, refer to the safety data sheet for the recommended handling and spill containment instructions. Always use National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) approved non-spill containers with spouts to avoid spillage and equipped with the appropriate flame arrester. Ensure to fuel equipment when engine is shut off and cooled. (Refer to Fuelling for more information.) ACTION! Demonstrate the proper fit of an appropriate ATV helmet.
