Operators need to consider all condi�ons including size, environment and operator needs. What are some of the ways we can prevent incidents? Being alert and well rested is important otherwise fa�gue while plowing can result in devasta�ng and even fatal incidents. Prevention Points Since snow removal and plowing always takes place in severe weather conditions, extra precautions and care is necessary to avoid incidents. Conditions such as night and snowstorms reduce driver visibility which the operator needs to exercise extreme caution. Here are some considerations: Review the General Health & Safety Best Practices section on page 7 before performing any task. Ensure the plow is secure and is mechanically adjusted as required. Have spare connecting pins in your vehicle. ! ?
