Questions To Get You Started Automation Have you considered implementing automation in your material handling processes? How are you ensuring the safe integration of automated systems into your workplace? What aspects of your operations have you automated or are considering automating? How do you think automation could improve safety and efficiency in your workplace? Machine Guarding, Blocking, and Lockout Do you have machine guarding and lockout/tagout procedures in place? How are you training your workers about these safety measures? How do you ensure that machines are properly guarded and that lockout/tagout procedures are followed? Can you share any experiences where these safety measures have prevented accidents? Automation at work involves using technology to perform repetitive or predictable tasks.
