20 years of diverse industry experience in the automotive and manufacturing sectors laid a strong foundation for Carl’s commitment to workplace injury and illness prevention. His innate curiosity for understanding how things are built launched his career in manufacturing but it was his role as a Joint Health and Safety Committee member that diverted his path to a Specialized Consultant -Warehouse and Distribution.

I love going to new places and seeing how things are built and I’m inspired when companies want to improve on their health and safety. Recognizing the potential, my goal is to empower organizations, champion best practices, and collaborate with employers to find the tailored solutions that work for them.

With Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and Professional in Materials Management (P.MM) designations, Carl’s health and safety knowledge extends to the agriculture, education, and service industries. His expertise in employer duties, internal responsibility system framework, root cause analysis and worker rights facilitate customized approaches to health and safety challenges. A dedicated team player, he is continuously energized working alongside like-minded colleagues.

Collaborating with a team of dedicated safety professionals keeps me motivated. Helping my team inspires me. I take a lot of pride in upskilling members of my team and sharing ideas and resources. We identify hazards, recommend controls, and educate thousands of workers and employers year over year to create safer work environments.
