Matthew Allen

Matthew is a new member of the WSPS Board of Directors and brings his experience as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), Certified Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC) and global Executive, having served in the Sustainability, Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and Professional Services fields for 25 years. Matthew has a Bachelors and Masters of Chemical & Environmental Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada and has served as a Naval Officer. Matthew has spoken and published internationally on various scientific and sustainability topics. Matthew is an active national professional development instructor with the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and is bilingual in French.

Matthew was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada and currently lives and works from home near Belwood, Ontario. He is an active outdoorsman, nature and animal lover, hobby farmer, husband and father to 3 active teenagers.
