Scott is a Specialized Consultant with Workplace Safety & Prevention Services (WSPS), bringing a strong occupational hygiene background that includes roles in commercial operations, energy and mining. Drawing on nearly three decades of occupational hygiene experience, he now works with organizations in Ontario’s manufacturing, service and agricultural sectors to manage exposure risks and prevent occupational injury and illness.

An employee once told me they knew their life expectancy would be impacted negatively by the job they were in,” he says. “Over time and many conversations, that worker shared they now believed they could have both: a good career and a long life if they keep asking questions and learn all they can about the hazards they face every day.

Scott is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and also has an Exposure Decision Analysis (EDA) designation from the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). His professional journey has been shaped by years of hands-on experience and by personal loss. Losing family members to occupational illness fuels his commitment to prevention.

By working in the field of occupational hygiene with WSPS, I hope to help prevent other families feeling that loss.
